So, whether you're a seasoned audiophile or a newcomer to the world of vinyl, the Pro-Ject X line has something to offer. With exceptional sound quality, precision engineering, and stunning design, the X line delivers the best possible vinyl playback experience at the price, making it the perfect choice for anyone who demands the very best from their turntable.

All X-Line turntables feature a carbon fibre tonearm, which is both lightweight and rigid, allowing for precise tracking of the record groove. This results in a more accurate and detailed sound reproduction, with less distortion and noise. The tonearm is also perfectly suited for pairing with a high-quality cartridge, some models have pre-fitted cartridges, ensuring optimal performance from the very first use.

X-Line turntables feature a heavy steel platter, which helps to reduce unwanted vibrations and resonance, resulting in a more stable and accurate playback. In addition, the Xtension 9, 10, and 12 feature a TPE-damped metal platter, which further reduces resonance and improves the overall sound quality. Finally, the Xtension 12 features a unique magnetic bearing design, which eliminates friction and noise, resulting in even smoother and more accurate playback.

Precision belt drive systems are employed across the entire range of X-Line turntables, this set-up ensures accurate and stable rotation of the platter. The belt is made from a special elastic material, which, by decoupling the motor and offering as little contact between these two areas of the turntable, helps to reduce vibration and noise, resulting in a cleaner and more detailed sound. In addition, the Xtension 10 and 12 feature electronic speed control, allowing for fine-tuning of the turntable speed. The more affordable models in this range offer push-button speed changing, allowing you to switch between 33/45RPM simply by pushing a button.
