In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic 'White Album', Pro-Ject have embarked on their fifth special edition turntable for The Beatles and have created this understated masterpiece. The 2Xperience The Beatles White Album is a class-leading turntable, re-imagined to reflect the classic album's minimalist cover artwork.
The White Album was originally released in 1968, and was the first studio album to follow in the wake of the immensely successful Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Seeing a special, remastered, re-release at the end of 2018 (including new 4 LP and 2 LP pressings) the band's eponymous album is now available with new and exciting sonic enhancements, and the 2Xperience The Beatles White Album turntable is there to unfurl every single detail.
The turntable itself is finished almost entirely in white; even the tonearm and the exclusive Ortofon 2M White cartridge have been finished to match the distinguished colourway. The main platter has also been changed to acrylic - not just to match the cosmetic appeal, but also to improve the overall sonic performance. The white record clamp helps finish the piece, ensuring this new turntable becomes the new star attraction in the home of any true Beatles fan.
On a technical level, the 2Xperience The Beatles White Album boasts many of the same features as the coveted 2 Xperience SB. The heavy, non-resonant plinth with the new acrylic platter make an ideal playback platform for vinyl, so the precision-engineered motor with integrated speed control (for automatic switching between 33 and 45 RPM) can perform optimally. Supplied with the high-end 9CC Evolution carbon fibre tonearm, and finished with the specially made Ortofon 2M White cartridge, this is an advanced turntable package that really sings.
Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, the 2Xperience The Beatles White Album is the ultimate piece of memorabilia, combining a never-before experienced mix of high-end technology, style and sound.
