The M6sR DAC is a very high-quality DAC capable of astonishing musical expression. Featuring seven inputs, it's an upsampling and reclocking design that can handle conversions up-to 32-bit/384kHz PCM, DSD128 (DoP) and DSD256 (native). All inputs will be upsampled to 32-bit/768kHz before being handed on to the internal analogue stage.
For the updated M6sR DAC (compared to the original M6s DAC), Musical Fidelity added support for native DSD, upgraded the USB input to a standard Type-B port and added full Roon Tested certification. The highest quality manufacturing standards have also been maintained as production has been switched to a new European facility.
The M6sR DAC is made to the finest manufacturing tolerances for exceptional sound and to guarantee a reliable performance for years to come. With its incredibly low distortion (0.0004% at 20kHz), crystal clear stereo separation (better than 120dB) and a noise ratio better than 119dB, played music is presented on a black velvet background with absolute freedom of expression. The technical measurements also mean connecting to any system (whether, via fixed or variable outputs) is well within reach of this exceptional product.
The M6sR DAC's immediate sonic impression is of effortless grace and transparency. In combination with its exceptional engineering it is a class-leading product in the proudest tradition of Musical Fidelity.
