In Stock products are those that are currently held in stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse. This stock status is updated regularly but is subject to change at very short notice.
Products that are Awaiting Stock are items that we would normally carry on stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse, but are currently unavailable. Chances are there is already more on the way, but if you would like a more accurate availability status please feel free to Contact Us.
Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
Exclusive products are sold only through one, or sometimes a very small number of dealers. As part of their commitment to the product’s exclusivity, they carry most of the available stock. The Jo No. 10 stands apart with a chassis made from the same high-density wood historically used in the world’s finest musical instruments. Each body is hand-painted and lacquered by a professional restorer of Renaissance and Baroque art, ensuring every cartridge is a unique work of art. This meticulous process takes over 250 hours to complete, reflecting the dedication behind every detail. Made in Slovakia, the Jo No. 10 combines heritage and innovation for audiophiles who demand perfection. Due to the handcrafted nature of this product, colour and finish may vary.
At the heart of the Jo No. 10 is a micro ridge stylus mounted on a cantilever cut from pure industrial diamond, delivering unmatched tracking accuracy. The cartridge features a cryogenically treated yoke for enhanced stability and performance. Its wooden body undergoes a shellac surface treatment, similar to that used on violins, for optimal resonance control. With a half-inch mounting standard and threaded holes for easy installation, this cartridge is as practical as it is extraordinary.
