Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.

The S5 features Michi’s signature industrial design, combining minimalist aesthetics with premium materials. Its sleek black chassis, front-panel colour display, and custom rhodium-plated binding posts reflect a commitment to luxury and functionality. Designed to be both visually striking and sonically discreet, the S5 is a true centrepiece.
Engineered with a dual monoblock layout, the S5 houses twin 2,200VA toroidal transformers in epoxy-filled enclosures to eliminate noise and vibration. This design ensures independent, isolated power delivery to each channel, enhancing stereo separation and dynamic control.
Delivering 500 Watts into 8-ohms and over 800 Watts into 4-ohms, the S5 drives even the most demanding loudspeakers with ease. A bank of four British-patented bulk storage capacitors totalling 188,000μF provides deep, responsive bass while maintaining precision and rhythm across all frequencies.
The S5’s performance is the result of meticulous design reviews, component selection, and sonic tuning. With 32 high-current output transistors and 17 independent voltage regulators, the amplifier maintains signal purity and timing accuracy under all load conditions.
Designed for modern systems, the S5 includes RS232 and Ethernet connections for integration with popular control platforms. The included remote ensures effortless operation, while the amplifier’s robust build and refined interface make it a pleasure to use.
