Ortofon Cartridge Size Guide

Fitting a cartridge to a tonearm is a fine art, and knowing everything about your chosen cartridge before purchasing is an essential part of a quick and painless installation. On top of knowing weight, tracking weight, compliance and other technical data, knowing the physical width, height and depth of your cartridge is key to ensuring it will mount comfortably on your tonearm. It will also help assist with accurate alignment.

A = Distance between centres of mounting holes
B = Cartridge width
C = Mounting holes diameter
D1 = Cartridge length
D2 = Cartridge length including connector pins
E = Stylus tip to the centre of the mounting holes
F = Stylus tip to the top of the cartridge mounting surface

*Please Note: Cadenza (and similar) models have their cartridge pins sunk into the cartridge body. So the measurements for D1 and D2 will be the same.
