Fanthorpes HiFi

Fanthorpes is Hull's longest established HiFi and electrical retailer. The company has been trading in Hepworth's Arcade in the Old Town of Kingston Upon Hull since 1948. Opened by Arthur Fanthorpe and his wife Laura in 1948, Arthur and Laura began by buying and selling army surplus radio equipment at auction. The business expanded and soon became the go to place in the city for buying components and radio equipment. There was nothing that you couldn't pick up at Fanthorpes.
