Henley Highlights - September 2025
Welcome to the fourth edition of our Henley Highlights feature! Every other month, we spotlight a carefully curated combination of hi-fi components that complement each other in both sound and style. The Xtension 9 is a turntable that exemplifies Pro-Ject’s commitment to high-performance analogue playback. At the UK Hi-Fi Show Live, we’ll be running the Xtension 9 with the EVO 9 AS Premium HG tonearm and the MC X40 cartridge, to showcase its full potential in a premium configuration.
Pairing beautifully with the Xtension 9, Stereonet’s 2025 Award-Winning Phono Stage, the Tube Box DS3 B, is a fully balanced phono stage that adds warmth and depth to your vinyl playback. With its dual-mono design and tube-driven circuitry, it delivers a mesmerising musical sound that complements the precision of the Xtension 9. It’s also highly configurable, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of cartridges.
The DX-5 is part of Rotel’s brand-new DX-Series – a compact, modern amplifier that doesn’t compromise on performance. We’re proud to be the first to bring the DX-Series to the UK, with availability starting in October 2025 across the Rotel dealer network.
To complete the system, we’ve chosen the legendary Klipsch Heresy IV from the Heritage Series – a speaker that blends vintage styling with modern acoustic engineering. Its dynamic, lively sound is a perfect match for the warmth of the Tube Box and the precision of the DX-5. The Heresy IV delivers an engaging listening experience that’s as bold as its iconic design. At the UK Hi-Fi Show Live we'll be mounting the Heresy's on KS-12 speaker stands, to position them at the ideal listening height for optimal performance.
