Pro-Ject Announce New Artist Turntable: Peanuts

Pro-Ject are celebrating the Peanuts 75^th anniversary in style with the announcement of a brand-new artist series turntable. As big fans, Pro-Ject have created a very special turntable using music related comic snippets featuring the beloved characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy.

The base of the Peanuts turntable is their T1 BT turntable which aims to deliver true high-fidelity sound on a limited budget. It features a built-in phono stage and a BT transmitter for wireless music streaming to your favourite BT enabled speakers.

For this collaboration, Pro-Ject have created a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass brushing. The blasted-glass platter is a heavy 8mm, zero-resonance design – avoiding the flaws of plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Additionally, a special Charlie Brown acrylic record plate is included which is designed to be placed on top of the main glass platter. The aluminium tonearm is finished with a pre-adjusted, high-quality Ortofon OM 10 to produce great sound out of the box.
