Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Firmware and App Update 2023

Pro-Ject have just released the latest update for the Stream Box S2.

The latest update includes a host of upgrades and new additions, and these are:

Android App:

• Updated for Android API Level 33
• New User Interface
• New Tidal Login
• Access to new streaming services

iOS App:

• New User Interface
• New Tidal Login
• Access to new streaming services

Firmware:

• New Tidal Login
• Improved TuneIn integration
• New Amazon Music service
• New Qobuz service
• Various fixes and improvements

The new Apps can simply be downloaded from the respective App stores, and the Firmware update will happen automatically. However, not all units require the Firmware update, newer units already come with it installed! The latest Firmware is now available as OTA-update for owners of units with the old Firmware.

Note: The Firmware update happens automatically. Try a reboot to speed up the process. If you have already downloaded the updated phone App and can already see the new streaming services, this means your Stream Box S2 already came with the latest Firmware installed!
