Rotel Amora 5 Speakers: Rotel Returns to Passive Hi-Fi After 25 Years
After more than 25 years away from passive loudspeakers, Rotel returns with the Amora 5: a compact, two-way bass-reflex standmount that extends the company’s engineering expertise from sources and amplification to the final sound in the room.
The Final Piece of the Rotel Puzzle
Customers can now build a complete Rotel hi-fi stack, from source and amplification through to speakers. Engineered to partner naturally with Rotel electronics, the Amora 5 brings the brand’s signature clarity, control and musical accuracy to every stage of the system. It will also integrate confidently with other quality hi-fi components when required.
Precision at Both Ends of the Frequency Range
A 1-inch (25 mm) silk-dome tweeter reaches up to 28 kHz, while a 6.5-inch (165 mm) woven-fibre composite midrange/bass driver supplies texture and scale. A precision-tuned 2.5 kHz crossover integrates both units for balanced response, focused imaging and a stable stereo soundstage.
A Cabinet That Knows When to Keep Quiet
The resonance-controlled MDF cabinet and rear bass-reflex port help reduce colouration and extend low-frequency response to 48 Hz. A screwless front, removable magnetic grille and Matte Black or Matte White finishes give the speaker a clean, contemporary look.
Easy to Match, Ready to Grow
Gold-plated terminals support single-wire and bi-wire setups. With 87 dB sensitivity, an 8-ohm nominal load and recommended amplifier power of 30 - 120 watts, the Amora 5 suits a wide range of integrated amplifiers. Each speaker measures 350 × 190 × 300 mm and weighs 7.7 kg.
A New Chapter, Tuned for Music
Compact, adaptable and understated, the Rotel Amora 5 completes the brand’s hi-fi range with a passive standmount speaker engineered for clear, natural and engaging sound.
