The X1/X2 Aluminium Sub Platter is a high-quality Aluminium upgrade, bringing less resonance for improved sound and elevating your system at an attractive price.

The Pro-Ject X1 and X2 are luxurious turntables that have been handcrafted with the best quality features. They solidify the mid to high-end price point in Pro-Ject’s turntable offering. Currently, in both models, the motor drives a sub-platter drive system which includes a premium grade bearing to produce smooth rotation of the heavy, non-resonating Acrylic platter.

Thanks to the heavy aluminium construction and fine engineering tolerances of the X1/X1 ALU Subplatter, the overall mass of the drive system has increased for a more stable rotational speed, resulting in better timing and dynamics.
