Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
The original Pro-Ject debut was released in the late 1990s during a time when CD was king and the vinyl format was presumed to be all but gone. But over two decades later the model still stands thanks to its enduring ability to offer exceptional value for money, class leading sound and timeless style.
Structurally, the Debut Carbon EVO is most recognised by its expertly finished main chassis, available in nine elegant finish options. The traditional rectangular footprint has a timeless minimalism, made of MDF for its excellent anti-resonant properties, and this tendency to have minimal vibrations continues throughout the Debut design.
Alongside the expertly crafted chassis, the TPE damped platter and aluminium feet are also made to fine tolerances to manage unwanted vibrations.
The in-house designed and manufactured AC drive motor is made to fine tolerances for absolute speed stability. To further eliminate any potential interference the motor is decoupled from the main chassis by a new mounting plate along with TPE-damping.
For ease of use, the Debut Carbon EVO is equipped with a discrete speed control switch underneath the front lip of the turntable, allowing for rapid switching between 33 and 45 RPM.
At the centre of the Debut Carbon EVO’s design is its 8.6” one-piece carbon fibre tonearm. Chosen for its optimal acoustic properties, carbon fibre is rarely found on turntables below £500, allowing the Debut Carbon EVO to stand apart from the competition as a special proposition.
The pre-mounted Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge, delivers a true high-end sound quality with a detailed sound presentation that conveys accurate musical emotion.
