Award-Winning Audio and First UK Reveals: Ascot 2025 Highlights

The UK Hi-Fi Show Live returned to the iconic Ascot Racecourse on September 27th and 28th, and Henley Audio was proud to be participating once again this year. The event drew a fantastic crowd of audio enthusiasts, industry professionals, and curious newcomers alike.

A Strong Start with WiiM

We kicked off the weekend in style with an exclusive dealer event for WiiM, where we proudly unveiled the brand-new WiiM Sound for the very first time in the UK. This premium smart audio solution, fresh from its global debut at Munich High-End 2025, impressed with its sleek design and forward-thinking features and will soon be available to WiiM dealers nationwide. Alongside the launch, we were given a glimpse into WiiM’s exciting roadmap for 2026 – and it’s clear they’re set to redefine the smart audio space in the coming years.

Showcasing Award-Winning Innovation

We were thrilled to present a range of cutting-edge products, including two recent EISA Award winners: Musical Fidelity’s B1xi, crowned Best Value Integrated Amplifier 2025, and the F-Dur from E.A.T, recognised as this year’s Premium Turntable. Both drew plenty of attention and admiration from attendees.

 First UK Showings and Fresh Launches

Ascot marked the UK debut for several standout products first seen at Munich High-End 2025. These included the WiiM Sound, Loewe Leo headphones, HiFi Rose RS451 network streamer and pre-amp, and Pro-Ject’s Tube Box S3 B, Tube Box E, and Uni Box S3.

A New Chapter with Rotel and Loewe

This year’s show was particularly special as it marked our first public outing with Rotel since taking over UK distribution last month. We also featured a stunning range of TV and audio solutions from Loewe, following our distribution partnership that began in July. Both brands were warmly received and added a fresh dimension to our display.

Pro-Ject Powerhouses on Display

We proudly featured two of Pro-Ject Audio Systems’ newest and most prestigious turntables: the Signature 12.2 and The Classic Reference. Recently launched and representing the pinnacle of Pro-Ject’s engineering, these premium models made a striking impression in their UK show debut. Designed for discerning vinyl enthusiasts, both turntables combine exquisite craftsmanship with cutting-edge analogue performance – a perfect match for the refined setting of Ascot.

Looking Ahead

With the Onkyo Icon Series set to launch later this year, and more exciting developments on the horizon, we’re already looking forward to what’s next. One of those exciting stops is The Cornwall Hi-Fi & Home Cinema Show, hosted by HBH Woolacotts at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October. It’s free to attend, and we’ll be showcasing standout products from Klipsch, Loewe, Pro-Ject, Ortofon and WiiM.
